Jay Duncan
A master luthier, educator, and entrepreneur, Jay Duncan has dedicated his life to the art of guitar making. As the Founder and President of The DuncanAfrica Society, Jay established the Suubi Trade School in Uganda, where he has trained aspiring luthiers in the craft of fine guitar building. With experience spanning over 30 years, including time at the renowned Larrivée Guitars, Jay has built a reputation for his meticulous approach to tonewood selection, supply chain management, and product development. His expertise ensures that every piece of wood we offer meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Paul Jabrayan
With over 35 years of experience in the world of high-end guitars, Paul Jabrayan brings a deep understanding of tonewoods and craftsmanship to our business. A guitarist since the age of 11, Paul pursued classical guitar professionally for over a decade before transitioning into the world of high-end instrument sales. In 2007, he founded Grand Guitar Salon, a premier destination for hand-crafted classical and flamenco guitars built by world-renowned luthiers. His expertise in selecting and evaluating wood has made him a trusted name in the industry, leading to the creation of his own line, De Cascia Guitars. Today, Paul applies his vast knowledge of tonewoods to source and supply only the finest materials for fellow luthiers and craftsmen.
